A few weeks ago, we went up to Bear Lake with Robbie's family. We have been staying at a great cabin that somehow manages to fit twelve adults (three of which are pregnant. 'Nuff said.) and sixteen grandchildren. It's really quite the place. We spent all our time sleeping, laughing, eating, wading in the lake (40° water isn't all that rad when it's only 65° in the air), having the annual "Movie Night" (thanks, Sara!), and just plain having a good time!
The crappy thing is, that we realized we had left the cord for the camera charger somewhere, and we still don't know where that somewhere is. Therefore, we have NO pictures of the entire weekend. SO crappy.
However, I did manage to steal this photo from Eric Dowdle's website. Every year, we do a puzzle of some sort. When we FINALLY finished this puzzle the afternoon before we came home, we jointly decided that it either needed to be burned or framed. It was the most difficult puzzle I, personally, had ever participated in completing. It. Was. Completely. Ridiculous.

Happy Birthday, Baby!
Today, we celebrated Robbie's 25th birthday. He began the day by waking up at 4:45am, or some other obscene time, and spending the next 11 hours at work. While he was hard at work, I decided to see how much Dax liked angel food cake.
Turns out, he does.
When Robbie finally got home, he got to open his gifts that have been sitting, wrapped for weeks by the couch. He's learning how to be patient and not shake wrapped gifts.
As you can see, he cleaned up. Later on, we went to dinner at Pei Wei, and spent the rest of his birthday money on a new gun holster (thanks mom and dad!) so he can feel cool at work, then returned home for some ice cream cake.

Other news:
Last weekend, we got to spend in Bear Lake with Robbie's family on the annual Allred Vacation. It was a lot of fun, and we can't wait for next year!
This is us at the scenic outlook at the summit in Logan Canyon.
We hiked the Limber Pine trail in snow, mud, and heat. It was an odd mixture, but fitting for springtime in Utah!

Dax enjoyed his ride in the moby.
Despite the ridiculous heat, he fell asleep!
This is the tree we hiked to. I'm still unsure as to why.
Isn't he the cutest little man ever?
Tyler had had enough. I love the "woe is me" hand!
Bright Eyes after his nap.
Dax's first 4-wheeler ride was to get a raspberry shake! He loved it (both the ride and the shake)!
I just think this is a fun face.
We are cute.

Frigid, frigid water.
I think Dax really is teething this time. He can't stop chewing on his lips, and makes some of the best faces!

Chocolate or poop?
Definitely not chocolate!
These are some of the pics of our house. I need to finish taking pictures....

The landing/office, Dax's room is the door on the left.
The view from the front door.
Enjoy!
