Wishin,' and hopin,' and thinkin,' and prayin'....

All week we have been waiting to hear back from Radiant Research, in hopes that Robbie has landed this job we have both felt so good about. Our lives have been somewhat up in the air as we have tried to figure out what we will do if he gets it, while at the same time trying to go about our lives as usual. It's not my favorite.

All this thought about leaving Logan and moving back down to Salt Lake gets me really excited. Anyone who knows me well knows that I was against coming back up to Logan after I returned from my mission over a year ago. Logan never held any special appeal to me in my life, and the year I spent up here prior to leaving to serve was less than desirable. Thank heavens for a loving and supportive husband that has done everything in his power to make it all worth it! I am so grateful for a man in my life that has not only loved me despite my millions of shortcomings, but has cared for me even when I didn't care for myself.

Thank you, Robbie for making Logan a place I will miss. Because it is where I got to be with you. I love you.

My Baby's Daddy

1. What is his name? Robert Michael Allred (Robbie)

2. Who eats more? For sure, he does.

3. Who said "I love you" first? Him. It was funny. We had just decided we were getting married and he says, "I really like you. Wait...I can say 'I love you' now! I love you!" It made/makes me laugh.

4. Who is taller? Robbie, by a good 6 inches.

5. Who is smarter? I would always say him, but he disagrees. Somehow, I don't think ACT scores count anymore.

6. Who is more sensitive? Robbie. I laugh at things like dead cats. He laughs at me.

7. Who does the laundry? It's probably him a bit more than me. I HATE doing laundry!

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Robbie makes fun of me because I usually sleep on both sides of the bed.

9. Who pays the bills? I usually do.

10. Who cooks more? Me.

11. What meals do you cook together? Together? People see their spouses for mealtimes?? What's that like?

12. Who is more stubborn? For sure ME.

13. Who is the first to admit they are wrong? Depends, I guess. I can't think of a time we disagreed on anything that mattered.

14. Who has more siblings? The same. We both have 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Depends. I think we both would have issues with wearing a dress in the relationship.

16. What do you like to do together? Play, be together, go up the canyon, anything we can do together is great.

17. Who eats more sweets? For sure, ME.

18. Guilty pleasures? I think Robbie secretly likes to hang out and watch television. Good thing we don't have access to anything our DVD player won't play!

19. How did you meet? We both were interested in each others' roommates for a few minutes (Yay for Robyn and Jake!!). We just stayed friends after that.

20. Who asked whom out? He asked me out, but it wasn't until four and a half years after we met, a few weeks after I returned from my mission.

21. Who kissed whom? Him again. I wouldn't have kissed him. It was a battle of wills thing.

22. Who proposed? Robbie did. At some unknown person's reception. We have a thing for stealing the show....

23. Best features? All of them. I honestly love everything about him. Even if he farts a lot. :)

24. What is his greatest quality? His desire to make me happy.
