Funny thing about pregnancy....

I find it slightly strange that I no longer am surprised or even slightly affected when I get sick and vomit.  It really is disturbing that it happens so often that it's just become a part of my normalcy.  I hope it is not a lasting phenomenon!

You Decide.

Our little gummi bear is officially 9 1/2 weeks old.  The due date is 7 September, 2008.  Machel, our midwife, says she should be able to tell us the sex next time we come (the first of March).  We're pretty excited about that!  Up until now, I haven't really felt one way or the other about the baby's gender but after this appointment, I'm convinced it's a boy...problem is I'm wrong a lot.

It was really fun watching Robbie get excited about his little baby.  He'll be such a great daddy!

The New Life-Saver

Robbie took his written portion of the EMT-B test this afternoon.   He passed, though he doesn't know what the percentage is (he thinks above 90%).  I'm so proud to have such an amazing and ambitious husband!  He is the best, and by far, the most amazing thing that ever happened to me.
I love you, Robbie!

Big Fat Day

Fitting, since tomorrow is Mardi Gras and all, but "Fat Tuesday" really is "Fat Everyday."   Yesterday I was sad to realize I had hit a new milestone in the baby-bellyness...I can no longer lie on my stomach and have my hipbones touch the floor.  It was a black letter day for me...but good I guess since it means that the baby is growing.....
