General Conference

I love General Conference! We got to enjoy it in the comfort of our home over the fabulous internet. I'm so grateful for technology so that we could listen to the words of the prophets.

As a bonus, we also got our crib touched up (it was pretty banged up from the previous owners) all at the same time!

Robbie's New Hours

I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of having a husband that works a late swing shift. This week his hours became even later since Icon changed the shifts to be four-tens. This means that he works from 5:00 until almost 3:00 am Monday through Thursday, while I have been working 9:00 am until 6:00 pm on weekdays...not extremely conducive for spending time together. The good news is, he shouldn't have to work any hours on a Friday for a long time! It's worth it, right? I sure hope so!

Though it's been a tough adjustment, I am so grateful that he is able to work and that his job has been so great to him. What a blessing to have a husband that is willing to run himself ragged for his wife. I just wish he didn't have to!
