For Those of You Who Don't Read My Running Blog....

So, I have a birthday coming up. Like 'next week' coming up. So, my sweet hubby, as awesome as he is, is a terrible secret-keeper. I don't know of a single gift he's been able to hold off until the "gift-giving" day (whichever one that may be).

So today, we woke up early and headed to Grand Junction, Colorado (weird to some, but it's half the distance to the next closest Target) to do some shopping.

Let's be honest. I LOVE REI. Love. Love. Love. Even though I haven't climbed in years, we don't camp as often as I'd like, and I already have enough CamelBaks and Mountainsmith Day Packs to last the rest of my life....I am kind of a gear junkie.

Also, I love athletic apparel.

And, I need some new running clothes ("I want, I want! I need, I need!").

So, while searching for some new running underpants (yes, I need those too!), Robbie informs me that he wants me to spend some undisclosed amount of money on some new gear.

Um.....OK!

So, I did.

I'm happy with my purchases. Also, I love my husband!
