Reasons to Register Electronic Equipment

As a wedding gift last August, Robbie and I received a smoothie maker.  We use it often.  Unfortunately, sometime last fall we hit the "heated dry" on the dishwasher, causing the basin to end up slightly misshapen.  Ever since then, the lid has not fit properly (ok, not at all), so we end up cleaning up smoothie in random areas in our kitchen where it sprays out.

Last weekend, Robbie made smoothies for us and the motor was not working properly.  In order for the motor to turn on, Robbie had to smack it with his palm (in true "man-style") repeatedly.

Luckily, I had registered all the gifts we had received to activate the warranties.  We contacted the company, told them our dilemma, and "Viola!" we have a new smoothie maker in the mail.  Hooray for being a poor newlywed!

Robbie's Pick

So this is Robbie...and on my way back to work from lunch tonight I put in a cd I hadn't listened to for a while. Maybe it was the fact that this song came on right after a song from the band Clap Your Hand And Say Yah...but this song just struck me as being AMAZING!!!!

I had to share it and I just didn't feel like it belonged on my personal blog (because I'm afraid Carly and I are the only people who look at it). So please enjoy In The Reins by Iron and Wine and Calexico.

Lazy Weekend Staying in Logan (Sort of)

For the first time in at LEAST a few weeks, we did not have anything taking us out of Cache Valley.  On Friday night, we ate pizza at The Factory (a Cache-Valley rip-off of The Pie), and headed up Blacksmith Fork Canyon to Hardware Ranch (a game-reserve for all the little animals, that happens to be really pretty), just because.

This was what was left of our pizza...we weren't all that impressed with the crust.
This was Robbie's unsuccessful attempt at having a model for a wife.
This is us.  Yay.
On Saturday, we woke up late, picked up some essentials at Fred Smith's (Smith's Marketplace), and did a little yard work.  Just don't look too closely.  Dax decided that he didn't like me bending over so much, so it didn't last as long as I would have liked.

Sunday morning, we made it to church on time!!

That is all.
