Baby Names

I called to ask Talya a question last night, but she wasn't home.  However, Eric and Tyler were there and very excited to talk with me.  I decided to take this opportunity to tell them about the baby...apparently a good choice.  It was hilarious.

The conversation went something like this:

"Eric, after your birthday, Robbie and I will have a baby like your mom did with Rylee"

"No WAY!  Babies aren't in mommies for that long!"

"They sure are."

"Nuh uh.  Rylee was only in mom's tummy for like..........................four days!"

"Eric, do you think it will be a little baby boy or a baby girl?"

"A baby boy!"

(Tyler from the background) "I think it will be a baby GIRL and you will name her SQUISHYhead!"

They proceeded to have at least a 6-7 minute long laugh-fest about what to name the baby which ranged from 'Ryan Hulk' (like the big green Hulk) to 'CuckooHead'.  

Anyway, it was a fitting way to end the work day, and it definitely put me in a better mood for the rest of the night.  It was REALLY funny.

To Appease Karlee...

In order to stay friends with Karlee Turner, I am following her request to complete this questionnaire about my awesome husband.

What is his name?   Robert Michael Allred ("Robbie")
How long have you been married?   almost 6 months
How long did you date?  that's a loaded question.  If you mean from the first date to engagement, 2 whole weeks.  If you mean from the point where we decided it was kosher to use the "boyfriend/girlfriend" terms, about 4 hours.
How old is he? 23 (though he'll probably tell you 24 if you ask him.)
Who eats more? now that I'm pregnant, probably me, but normally most definitely he wins!
Who said I love you first?   He did.  Right AFTER we decided we were getting married.
Who is taller?   Robbie:  is there any other way?!?
Who sings better?   No question, he does. I wish I could sing better...
Who is smarter?    Depends on the subject, but I'm pretty sure he is.
Whose temper is worse?   Robbie's, but I tend to be moodier
Who does the laundry?    We both do.
Who does the dishes?    Again, we both do, but Robbie is really good at helping out when I make dinner and he doesn't have to go immediately back to work.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?   Me....
Who pays the bills?    That would be me.
Who cooks dinner?   I do.  Unless he wants to eat a Totino's Party Pizza or nachos.  Then, it's definitely him.
Who drives when you are together?   Usually he does, mostly because we are typically in the Honda, and I really don't love the Honda.
Who is more stubborn?   Me.  I win every battle of wits.
Whose parents do you see the most?   Its pretty even...
Who proposed?   He did.  First "hypothetically," then actually, at someone else's wedding reception.
Who has more friends?   People's friends still talk to them after they're married?  Wow.
Who has more siblings?   same.  5 kids in both families
Who wears the pants in the family?   Its pretty equal for the time being...we're still pretty new at this whole marriage thing.
What makes you melt about your husband?   hands down, the awkward laugh!

Robbie at Work

Robbie is really funny at work.  Sometimes, when he gets bored, he throws pens into a cup across the hallway.  One day, he decided to videotape himself doing just that.  Unfortunately, the skill level is not quite as high while holding a camera as it is merely concentrating on the pen/cup.  Anyway...this video is really funny to me.  Enjoy!
