NBA Finals

Wow.  Thank heavens the Lakers lost.  Whew!

Ultrasound Pictures and Today's Appointment

Since some people were upset last time that I didn't post the ultrasound pictures, here they are, as well as the ones from today.

This is a side view of his head, neck, and shoulders.  Machel was checking the amniotic fluid levels.
This is his heartrate.
This is the umbilical cord's pulse.
Dax's head is on the right, and his limbs make up the rest of the jumbled mess.
These are the pictures from today's appointment.  Machel was, again, measuring the pulse in the cord.  His hands and knees are the blobs, and his head is on the right.
This is more measurement of the amniotic fluid levels, the center of the photo are his hands.
A more clear shot of his hands (though not nearly as clear as in the video).  If you look closely, you can see that Dax has a good hold on the cord.  Robbie thinks that maybe he'll be a golfer.
We've established that he's just hanging out snuggling in my pelvis.  It's his little hands that have been causing me so much trouble underneath my ribs.  Maybe he's trying to grab on to them like he's been doing with the cord.  If that's the case, I'm hoping that he's going to be into rock climbing.

At any rate, he's healthy and strong (promise, he's strong.  I can feel it ALL the time).  Things are looking good and we're getting more excited all the time (only about 2 1/2 months until his due date!).

It's a No-Go.

Unfortunately, the job is a no-go. If anyone hears of any positions in Salt Lake area, let us know! Robbie is graduating in Psychology with desires to continue in Sport Psychology. Anything in research or psychology should help him to get into grad school, as well as provide a good job in the mean time, but I'm pretty sure he's open to a lot of other options as well. He's a Safety Coordinator (OSHA compliance, EMT) currently.
