Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park and Bear Park

A few weeks ago...actually, a MONTH!  Holy smokes.  It's really been a month.  Wow!  

Anyway, my baby sis and her hubby and kiddos came to visit from their new home in Connecticut.  We played lots, and did some fun things together.  It was so great to see them all, and we miss them tons!  Here's some photos of the day we had with my mom and sisters at the Dino Park in Ogden.

Keagan decided he wanted to push Dax around.    The fact that he and Dax were borrowing Tyler's matching coat/jacket didn't help the fact that they look like twinners!

When I finally let Dax out of the stroller, all he wanted to do was push it around.  Never mind that his view was highly obstructed by the actual stroller itself.  He didn't seem to mind that I had to....shall we say....redirect him from time to time to keep him from falling into the creek or running into a random passer-by. 

We played at the playground for a while.  Dax was LOVING the slide.  What a silly boy!

He actually held still for a second.  I couldn't believe it.

Later that night, we got some Cafe Rio and met Clay, Jen, and Millie, and Erica, Chuck, Keagan, and Bryton at Bear Park.  Talk about a blast from my past!  That park brought a whole flood of memories from elementary/junior/high school all rushing back in.  So fun!

We had a great time, and can't wait until the Lindbergs come back to visit!

Memorial Day Weekend, 2009

Park City for Robbie's birthday. We stayed at the Westgate Resort at the Canyons.We shopped at the outlets and swam a few times. Dax has discovered that bathtime isn't the only time water can be fun! (unfortunately, we have no pictures of it...boo!)

All those who think Dax got his eyes from me, please study the following photo closely. Actually, they came from his cousin Rylee. Is that possible?

In the aquarium's gift shop, we found these snakes. Dax giggled everytime I showed them to him. It was the cutest thing ever! I think we know what we can get him for a gift!

Snow Horse, what?
For those of you who are not from Davis County, there is a legend about a "Snow Horse" in the mountains. Apparently, there is a part on the mountain that, at a certain point in the spring, looks like a horse in the snow, that carries with it multiple stories. Ask anyone from Davis County, and you are likely to get a different legend every time.
Robbie keeps telling me about it, but I had never seen it, so, when the conversation came up at his parents' house, we had to go see it. Any guess where it is? Keep looking....
After studying the above photo, maybe you'll understand why I will forever refer to it as the Snow Poodle.

Erica, Chuck, and Keagan came up to visit last weekend. They came for a friend's wedding, but we used it as an excuse for haircuts! It's nice to see how ridiculously good-looking my husband really is....but If you look closely, you can see exactly why Robbie doesn't yet love children.
