We made a spectacular discovery about 2 weeks ago. My mom went into a new doctor that told her about how hormonal imbalances can cause food allergies. Apparently too little progesterone can cause (or at least contribute to) them. As most people well know, during pregnancy, progesterone levels are high to hold the baby in.
Surprise! I can eat eggs and wheat (I haven't been adventurous enough to try the other, more serious ones yet)!! My dad says I'll just have to always be pregnant. Wrong! I hope to be able to do some kind of progesterone therapy treatment after the baby comes. Hooray! It's treatable!
