Once upon a time, I had a job where we went to an appreciation dinner/training and they supplied us with items for us to dress like fairies for the evening. With the group I was in, they were largely unsuccessful. Regardless, as centerpieces on the table, they had placed magic wands (giant pixy stix with a gold star on the end) for each "fairy" to take home. Being as pixy stix are made of sugar, you'd better believe I took one!
Just now, I cut open the end and very nearly inhaled the entire stick of flavored sugar in under 2 minutes. All my nutrition professors would be displeased, but give it a few minutes, and we'll see if Dax likes sugar!
Please note the actual size of these sugar sticks in comparison to the girl in the picture. Yikes!

Those things are my favorite food....Or food-like substance:) Jeff has been known to hide them due to the obnoxiousness that seems to come about after I eat them.
carly...you are hilarious! i got three of those pixy stix from that fairy dinner (cause marie and allie gave theirs to me) and let me tell you, baby weston (no, he still doesn't have a name) loves them...but his daddy doesn't. apparently i get a little too hyper on those things. nevertheless, i still love them!
Nice. I haven't had one for years... I think there is a reason for that. I probably inhaled too much at one point and almost choked. That's usually what happened with powder candy back in the day... embarrassing as it is to admit.
I'd like to see how big of a fan Dax was!
That pixy dinner sounds hillarious! And so much fun. But you ended up with the GOLD PRIZE!! Pixy sugar, I am so jealous you got to inhale such a big pixy stix!! What flavor was it?!
